Rusta and matcha (Prepare and match) is a service from the Swedish Public Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen) for job seekers. It offers support from a coach to help you find a job or start an education as quickly as possible. If you are eligible to participate in Rusta and Matcha, you can choose your own service provider. Randstad RiseSmart is one of the providers.

If the Swedish Public Employment Service assesses that you are eligible for Rusta and matcha, you can choose your provider through "My pages" on the Swedish Public Employment Service website. You can also contact the Swedish Public Employment Service and inform them which provider you want for Rusta and matcha.

If you are a job seeker and participate in Rusta and matcha, you are eligible to apply for financial compensation from the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan), also known as activity support or development compensation. The type of compensation you will receive is based on your age, among other factors. Conditions for unemployment benefits may also affect the amount. When you participate in Rusta and matcha with us at Randstad RiseSmart, you get a personal coach who supports you in finding a job or starting an education as quickly as possible. Our program starts with a conversation where we review and map your background and desires to create an individual development plan with specific goals. Then you receive support with everything from writing your CV and cover letter to interview training. You will also participate in seminars, e-learning, recruitment events, and company visits. If education is the best way to find a job, one of our study and career counselors is available to help you find the right path. 

Every week, we have planned activities at our offices where you have the opportunity to network, meet hiring companies, and learn more about the job market. We have a large network of local and national employers with staffing needs, allowing us to match your profile with open positions. There are many providers to choose from, and you should choose the one that best suits your needs. If you wish to choose us at Randstad RiseSmart as your provider, you can find us on the Swedish Public Employment Service website. There you'll find our KA-number that applies to the location where you wish to participate in Rusta and matcha. You will provide the KA-number when you apply.

The KA-number is a unique number for each provider offering the Rusta and matcha 2 service within their respective service areas. You should use the number for the location where you wish to participate in Rusta and matcha 2.

If you are eligible for Rusta and matcha, the first decision will be made for a period of six months. After that, you can extend for another six months if necessary. When you have found a job or started an education, the service and support from Rusta and matcha will end. 

Each week, you participate in an activity at the local office, in the location you have registered for. Every other week, we have individual meetings where we look at how to best prepare you for a job. The activities are both physical and digital. In between, you actively seek employment according to the action plan we have jointly developed. To receive compensation or activity support from the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, you need to follow the plan you have developed with us.

Yes, you can study at SFI while participating in Rusta and matcha if you can benefit from the content of Rusta and matcha.

If you are not satisfied with the help you receive from a provider, you can change providers. To change providers, contact the Swedish Public Employment Service and inform them.

The Swedish Public Employment Service sets the requirements for who can participate in the Rusta and matcha program. Often, you must have been registered with the Swedish Public Employment Service for an extended period and be part of their program for mediating efforts. Only the Swedish Public Employment Service can grant leave. When participating in a Rusta and matcha program and needing vacation, you must apply for it with the Swedish Public Employment Service, who will either approve or deny the request.

Only the Swedish Public Employment Service can grant vacation while the Rusta and matcha program is ongoing. If you are granted leave, you continue the program after the end of your vacation.

As a participant in a Rusta and matcha program, you have an individual meeting with your supervisor/coach every other week and an activity at the office each week. Every other time, these meetings and activities are digital. The initial meeting always takes place at the office.

You should choose the provider that best suits your needs and can match or prepare you for a job. You can search for providers' specific expertise and get information about those available in your location, language and industry knowledge, as well as their employer contacts. It is important that the time spent with a provider leads to a new job or education. 

Participants have the right to change providers during their entire time in the service. Participants have a notice period of fourteen days. This means that the participant remains with the previous provider for fourteen (14) calendar days, counted from the day of notice, before starting the service with the new provider.
